After this fateful day
Nothing would ever be the same way
On his way to buy some breakfast
The weather was hot
But he was cool cause
He was a mantis man who used his wings as a fan
Claws held in prayer
But sharp as a slayer
An expert at cutting cheese
He'd mastered the perfect slice
This day would be the turning point
Little did he know that from now on
His life would change forever
He had heard the prophecy
But never thought he’d live to see this day
After this fateful, fateful, fateful day
Nothing would ever be the same way
This album is a pure blast. Like the score to a fantastic 16-bit SHMUP but with twice the effort and skill put into the music. An absolute ride, damn! Bulletrider
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
